The Myoelastic Aerodynamic Theory of Phonation (Collector’s Edition)

Collector’s Edition:  This book is no longer being printed.  We have 4 remaining copies.  They are signed by Dr. Titze and are numbered (for example “1 of 4”, “2 of 4”, etc.).  Whenever Ingo has signed books in the past he has also personalized them so these should be the only non-personalized, signed copies and should have good collectability value.   If you would like to purchase the eBook, at a lower price, please see our other listing.

The Myoelastic Aerodynamic Theory of Phonation  is a mathematically-based text that integrates measurement and theory regarding biomechanics, fluid mechanics, and acoustic wave propagation in human and animal airways. It serves as a resource for computational modeling of voice production. In particular, it addresses the fluid-structure interaction that produces self-sustained vocal fold vibration. The book was written in honor of Janwillem van den Berg, who coined the term myoelastic-aerodynamic theory, and Fariborz Alipour, who developed computational models.
